Gift Sharing
From the day God the Father drew us to Christ Jesus our Lord and granted us the gift of repentance, we received JUSTIFICATION! We were sealed with the gift of faith and the indwelling Holy Spirit. What an amazing, indescribable gift! We could do nothing to earn this gift! It is received upon turning from sin and placing all your trust in Jesus' perfect work at that dreadful but all victorious cross.
In the world today, one of the biggest challenges for the follower of Jesus is to realize what he or she has been gifted to do. This process takes place during what the Bible calls, our SANCTIFICATION. The enemy wants you to be unaware of this process. He does not want you to know what God has really said. In the Holy Bible, Jesus said the following...
John 17:17-19 NKJV
17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
And the writer of Hebrews says the following...
Hebrews 6:11-12 NKJV
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promise.
When Christ comes to take us home, we will experience what he Bible calls GLORIFICATION. We will be like Him, as He now is, in the twinkling of an eye!
Resource Zone
So, what exactly is Opportunity Zone Jesus resource zone all about you may ask? Well, we are happy and excited to share. It is quite basic really. We believe that everybody needs a hand from time to time. Not just a handout but a hand up. We also believe that, by implication, as we help people utilize the available resources around us, we are given an opportunity to be useful for the cause of the Gospel. While we do not always directly collaborate with various community resources, we do point people who are in need, to those resources. At that time, we are able to share Jesus with them.
For example: Your physician may not be a believer or follower of the Lord Jesus the Christ, but you still take full advantage of the OPPORTUNITY to receive of their skill and expertise pertaining to your various health concerns. With that said, we try to make people aware of what is available in this area, and we try to help them get to the resources they are seeking.
